Sunday 24th September: Dersingham 7 Brandon Lads 2
Like a lot of teams this year Brandon has lost players to other teams, players who were a part in the team which made it tick and helped gain steady progress through the seasons, more so in the back four were Brandon worked hard to get things right, so it is a case of starting again, but losing J. Norton to a broken wrist before the season started  was a big blow .Brandon are in a bit of a transition period but have enough quality to play well and do better than they showed today. two to three players played with heart, but too many were quiet and at half time were told to show pride and fight for each other, this they did and clawed two goals back. Dersingham played direct and the pace of the front boys caused problems along with their two big defenders who freely won the ball in the air. The organised fighting Brandon, would not have lost this game if they turned up today, no excuses we were poor and fair play to the boys as they knew it and look to put this game down to the jolt needed to get things going.

Sunday 17th September: Brandon Lads 3 L & B Boys 4
Brandon left the field of play at the final whistle knowing that they must take there chances and kill teams off if they are going to do well this year, they missed a penalty and failed to finish when twice one on one with the visitors keeper. they started brightly and looked eager but were undone by a sucker punch when the visitors pounced and shot low at the net to see it slip under the keeper .this spurred on the lads starting with a great long field ball from Harrison which Green plucked out of the air and slammed past the visitors keeper, then with a swift move from the left, Atoria pounced and with a deft shot with his favoured left, struck the back of the net making it 2.1.but the visitors took advantage of errors by Brandon to make it 2.2 end to end play followed with both teams looking to score, Green popped up with a cracking volley through a crowd of players to give Brandon the lead again. The visitors didn’t lose heart and pushed Brandon to gain not only a equalizer but the winner in the last ten minutes, Brandon twice had clear chances to level and grab the points but the visitors keeper was outstanding, this was a great display with both keepers keeping the teams in the game.
