Sunday 15th April 2007 Brandon Lasses 4 Waveney Girls 4
Brandon Lasses under 15 entertained Waveney Girls for their final fixture of the season. The lasses took control early on and took a deserved lead but Waveney came back well with three first half goals. The lasses started the second half well pulling two goals back before the visitors again took the lead. Chelsey Panter rescued a point with her fourth goal of the match.

Sunday 4th February 2007 Brandon Lasses 2 Woodbridge Town 4

Brandon found themselves 2-0 down after 15 minutes, against a strong and very
physical Woodbridge side. For the remainder of the first half, Brandon closed down the opposing players well and deservedly pulled a goal back before half time when Simone Bull put a good ball through to Chelsea Panter, who scored with a well taken goal. The second half saw Brandon continue with more good football and Chelsea scored her second, to equalise. Woodbridge then put Brandon under pressure and scored 2 more goals. All the girls should be congratulated on an excellent team performance, but a special mention to Becky for standing in as Goal-Keeper and Trish for a good effort on her return after injury. Well done. Brandon 2 Woodbridge 4`

Sunday 21st January 2007 Brandon Lasses 13 Kesgrave Kestrels 0

Brandon Lasses had a comprehensive win against a spirited Kesgrave Kestrels team. In the first half, Brandon went 8-0 up after a good display of one touch passing football. The second half saw Brandon add another 5 goals. This could have been more, but for a fine display from the Kesgrave keeper. Brandon scorers were, Chelsea Panter 7, Simone Bull 4 and Stevie Field 2.

Sunday 7th January 2007 Brandon Lasses 0 Ipswich Town 4
SGWL K/O Cup

Brandon got off to the worst possible start in this fixture going a goal down in the opening minute. The Lasses then grouped well and stuck to their task against a strong Town side. After suffering an eight nil score line earlier in the season Brandon were determined to put in an improved performance despite having a bare nine players and substitute keeper. Ipswich had strength and depth in their squad and very skilful players and the Lasses conceded a second from a terrific 30y drive on 14 mins. and a third 4 mins. later. Despite the shoreline Brandon were playing some very good defensive football and working very hard as a team, Jade Elliot, Chloe Rumsey, Megan Cooper, Kirsten Holsey and Juliet Mills all putting in very good defensive performances. Town added a forth on the half hour .H/T 0-4
Brandon have been guilty of fading in the second half this season but put in terrific second half performance holding Town to the half time shoreline. The team kept their shape, defended superbly and had a couple of chances.
Despite losing a big well-done to all the girls and although hard to pick out individual performances Cooper did a terrific job in a defensive mid-field role, Mills read the game superbly in defence but player of the match Kirsten Holsey battled and frustrated Ipswich down the left with a great hard working defensive display.

Sunday 17th Dec 2006 Elmswell 1 Brandon Lasses 5
Brandon Lasses were down to the bare bones of the squad for the away trip to Elmswell. The team turned in a fantastic performance to record a 5-1 win. The defence made up of Stevie Field, Megan Cooper, Trish Hoyte and Juliet Mills backed up by Becky Jacobs in goal were excellent. Battling performances from Jade Elliot and Kirstin Holsey in midfield to support the attacking pair of Chelsea Panther, scorer of 4 goals and Felicity Cleverley 1 goal. A great team performance and a well deserved win.

Report to follow.

Sunday 12th Nov 2006 Bury Town 7 Brandon Lasses 2

The first half was an even contest, with both sides having chances to score. A good display from Jade in the Brandon goal, kept Bury out, until the last minute of the first half, when Bury scored.
Again, the second half saw both teams with chances, but it
was Bury who took them, scoring 3 quick goals. Brandon pulled 1 back, after a good solo effort from Chelsea. Bury continued to push forward and scored 4 more. Brandon scored their second with a well worked second goal from Chelsea.

Sunday 5th Nov 2006 Copleston SC 1 Brandon Lasses 4

Brandon started the game slowly and couldn't get a passing game going. Pressure from Copleston saw them take the lead, midway through the first half. The defence kept out any further goals, with credit  going to Jade in goal, who had another solid game. Just before Half-Time, Brandon equalised from an own goal, following a Chelsea corner.
Things improved slightly in the second half and with 5 minutes to go, Chelsea slotted home Brandon's second. A 30 yard shot from Megan beat the keeper for Brandon's third and a 25 yard free-kick from Chelsea gave Brandon a 4-1 win.
Sunday 29th Oct 2006 Brandon Lasses 3 AFC Sudbury 0
The first 20 mins. saw Sudbury pushing forward, but a solid Brandon defence of
Chloe Rumsey, Becky Jacobs, Trish Hoyte and Juliet Mills held firm.
Brandon went in at half time 2-0 up, after 2 well made and well taken goals from
Chelsea Panter. The second half saw end to end football. Sudbury pushed forward, but were denied by a string of good saves from Jade Rodwell. Brandon's midfield of Megan Cooper, Jade Elliot and Simone Bull battled hard, with Simone unlucky after a 25 yard shot hit the post. Felicity Cleverley finished off a good game with Brandon's third goal.
A great result and Brandon team effort against a strong Sudbury side.

Sunday 8th Oct 2006 Kesgrave kestrels 1 Brandon lasses 14
Brandon Lasses run out comfortable winners against Kesgrave Kestrels 14 - 1.  In the first half Brandon went 6-0 up with goals from Chelsea Panter(2), Becky Jacobs, Simone Bull, Felicity Cleverly and a penalty from Chloe Rumsey.  8 more goals followed in the second half with just 1 back from Kesgrave. Despite the score line, a special mention for the Kesgrave keeper who made a succession of great saves. Brandon scorers were Chelsea Panter (5), Felicity Cleverly (3), Simone Bull (3), Becky Jacobs, Chloe Rumsey and Megan Cooper.

Sunday 1st Oct 2006 Brandon Lasses 1 Waveney Herons 12

Brandon Lasses went down 12-1 to Waveney Herons. The Herons were bigger stronger and more physical than the Lasses. Brandon were 5-0 down after 30 mins, Felicity Cleverly scored for Brandon. After half time the Lasses heads dropped and the final score was 12-1.

Sunday 24th Sept 2006 Brandon lasses 5 Elmswell 1

A hard fought first half, saw excellent effort and commitment from the whole Brandon team. Elmswell went ahead after a goalmouth scramble, but Brandon went in at half time 3-1 up after 2 goals from Chelsea Panter and 1 from Trish Hoyt. The second half was end to end football, with Brandon adding 2 more, one from Megan Cooper and 1more from Chelsea, to complete her Hat-Trick. Well Done to all the girls.

Sunday 17th Sept 2006 Stowupland Falcons 4 Brandon Lasses 2

Brandon started their first league fixture of the season well. Despite going behind they turned the first half around to come in with a disserved 2-1 lead. Two goals from Chelsea Panter and two good assists from Fliss Cleverley. Brandon had the better of a well fought first half but it was the Falcons who turned it around in the second. The Lasses had three players making their debut all playing their part  with great support from the rest of the team. The final score was a bit flattering for the home side but it was their fitness to the end that made the difference.
