Ladies vs Debenham: match photos

Many thanks to Mr David O'Keefe who came to Brandon last Sunday 13th September, to watch his daughter play for the Debenham women's squad. He has kindly given us some action photos from the Brandon Ladies v Debenham match.

Although the score was 0-0 it was an historic match for Brandon as this was the very first competitve women's league football match held in Brandon ... EVER! These photos are a great reminder of that day. More photos can be found on the Brandon Ladies page.

Sunday proved to be a landmark day of footie action for our squads playing on that day because they all won. With a combined 34 goals for and 9 goals against and 8 wins in the bag it was a fantastic day for the Brandon Lads & Lasses AFC. Well done to all our squads. Your dedication in training is really paying off so keep smiling and those wins will keep coming!

"Thank You!"

This week its the turn of the Lasses Under 12 squad to say "Thank you" to one of sponors. Style! have kindly sponsored this squad's kit and their matchball. Pictured above is Malcolm Fuller (left) from Style! and the Under 12 Lasses with their manager Roger Field (right).

The heat is on ...

Wow what a hot day it was today! One squad that were too hot to handle were the Under 9 squad winning their third consecutive league match this season and the Under 12 Lasses were also untouchable with their eight unanswered goals. It was no picnic for the Under 12 Lads, Under 13 Lads and Under 15 Lasses but the Under 16 Lads came out on top following a nail biting finish to cling onto their 2-1 lead. The Ladies performance shone out at Brantham to get them their first league win and they remain unbeaten so far. Well done to all our squads.

Under 9 Lads squad say "Thank You" to their sponsor

The Brandon Lads under 9 squad celebrated sponsorship of their home kit by Brandon based company, Weeting Tyres, by taking a series of photographs of the squad and their sponsor.

Manager Mark O'Malley said, " We are over the moon to have Mark and Moss from Weeting Tyres support us in this way - it is very much appreciated by everyone!!"
