6 Brandon Lasses 1
Brandon Lasses up/14
played away to Ipswich and due to late call
offs had to play with only seven players.
However against the
league champions the Lasses put up a terrific
fight and even took the lead through a wonderful
solo goal from Fliss Cleverly, however Ipswich's
superior numbers eventually wore the Lasses down
and they ran out 6-1 winners. A superb effort from
Becky, Megan, Chloe, Juliet, Clare, Fliss and
Chelsea.

Lasses 2 Woodbridge Town
6 Brandon
entertained a strong Woodbridge side and put up a
good battling display with only 8 players. Brandon
had chances with Chelsea Panter's pace causing
Woodbridge problems but it was always going to be
hard and Woodbridge took their
chances.

Youth 2 Brandon Lasses
3 Brandon
Lasses U14 away to Waveney Youth turned in one of
their best displays of the season with a 3-2 win
over a very good Waveney side.
Lasses started slowly and
found themselves a goal down, the Lasses then
put the Waveney side under pressure and created a
number of goal scoring opportunities before being
awarded a penalty for handball. Chelsea Panter
scoring from the spot, the same player then put
Lasses into the lead with a well-taken goal. 2-2
at half time. Waveney
put Lasses under more pressure in the second half
but the Lasses where defending well as a team
and it was from one of these quick breaks that
Chelsea Panter completed her hatrick. Jade Rodwell
in goal then made 2 brilliant saves to keep Lasses
in front to record a 3-2 win.

Copleston SC 1 Brandon
Lasses u14 at home to Coppleston started the game
playing some excellent football and were rewarded
with three well taken goals from Clare Guy, Fliss
Cleverley and Chelsea Panter. The
second half was a complete contrast Copleston
upped their workrate and knocked the Lasses out of
their stride. They eventually pulled a goal back
and had the Lasses defence under pressure
however, with 30 seconds to play the Lasses
at last put together a passing move and Chelsea
scored her second goal. A big well done
to all the Girls.

4 Elmswell 0 Brandon
Lasses u14 recorded an excellent 4-0 against
Elmswell. The lasses started in a determined
fashion pushing Elmswell back and should have
taken the lead on a number of occasions, how ever
the break through did come when Chelsea Panter
added to her season total to put the Lasses one
up. Elmswell where battling well but could not
find a way past the well marshalled Lasses
defence. The Lasses started a little sloppy in
the second half but eventually took control of a
tiring Elmswell and added three more goals through
Chelsea Panter, Fliss Cleverley and an own goal. A
good Lasses team
performance.

Lasses 3 Brandon
Lasses u14 away to Stow Falcons gave another good
display of football but went down 4-3.
The
Lasses opened the scoring though a good cross shot
from Chelsea Panter. Stow quickly equalised and
then took a 2-1 lead before half-time. The
Lasses started the second half slowly and soon
found themselves 3-1 behind. This seemed to
spur the Lasses as they started to play some of
their best football and pulling a goal back when a
great cross form Chelsea was well finished by
Aimee Harrison. At this stage an equalising
goal looked likely but Stow then broke
quickly from a Lasses corner and scored their
fourth. Again the Lasses did not give up and
pulled one back when a good turn and shot by Fliss
Cleverly found the back of the net. Another
good display by the whole squad well done
girls.

1 Brandon Lasses 1 Brandon
lasses U14 away to Woodbridge, played out an
excellent 1-1 draw. Brandon had the better of the
first half and scored right on half time, with a
good shot by Shanwy Page, this was just reward for
some excellent all round football by the whole
team. Woodbridge probably had the better of
the second half and equalised with a well taken
goal. All in all a fair result.

Lasses 2 Bury
Town 3 Brandon Lasses under 14 at
home to Bury Town in a very evenly contested game
Bury took the lead midway through the first half.
The Lasses then equalized with a good shot from
Aimee Harrison to make the score 1-1 at half
time. Bury then took the lead
again the lasses came back strongly and some
excellent individual play by Chelsea Panter
resulted with the lasses equalizer at this stage
the Lasses probably had territorial
advantage. Bury always looked dangerous on the
break and it was from one of these quick breaks
that they once again took the lead, the lasses
kept pushing forward but could not find a 3rd
final score. Bury 3 Lasses 2. A good all round
display by both teams and Lasses felt that a draw
would have been a fair result.

game well, playing some good football and creating
a number of goals scoring opportunities but failed
to take any of them Bury then settled down and a
purple patch midway through the first half saw
them score 6 times before half time. Lasses came
out in the second half in much more determined
fashion and pulled back two goals through Chelsea
Panter and Fliss Cleverly. Lasses then missed a
number of other goal scoring chance before Bury
scored again Lasses where still creating chances
and from one of these Shawney Page scored to make

Brandon 3 Brandon Lases under 14
Player away to Elmswell, and due to late call offs
had to play with only eight girls, however they
played with such spirit and determination hat they
came away witha 3-1 victory. The Lasses opened the
scoring with an excellent 20 yard lob by Megan
Cooper, followed by a superb goal by Sm Dodds who
curled a magnificent shot into the top corner of
the goal. Elmswell pulled a goal back just before
half- time, but the Lasses continued to play well
in the second half with the defence of Jade , Sam,
Becky and Daisy being well assisted by Megan and
Claire. The Lasses always looked dangerous on the
break with the pace and close control of Fliss and
Chelsea and it was Chelsea who eventually got her
reward with another well taken goal just before
the end. a Magnificent effort by all the
girls!

Lasses 1 Stow Falcons
8 Brandon Lasses U/14 at home to Stow
Falcons found themselves a goal down in only the
first minute however they soon levelled the score
when the Stow Keeper failed to hold a shot from
Chelsea Panter and Fliss Cleverley netted the
loose ball. The game them become very even
with both sides playing good football, but it was
Stow who regained the lead and added another
before half time. The Lasses started the second
half in the worst possible way when lack of
concentration allowed Stow to score twice in the
space of a couple of minutes. They then went on to
add three more to make the final score 8-1. The
lasses will need to work on their fitness and
concentration levels as an excellent first half
performance against a very good Stow side was
undone in a lacklustre second half.

Brandon
Lasses 0 Ipswich Women
11 The Lasses struggled to get a grip
against a strong Ipswich side who put in a good
display of simple passing football. The step up
from seven a side has not been easy for Brandon
but with some hard work in training can push on
from today's performance. Shawney Page had a very
good game up front for Brandon but had little
support when Brandon did break forward and was
unlucky towards the end of the first
half when she managed to break free and saw
her shot spilled by the keeper but well recovered.
Ipswich's strike force punished Brandon at every
opportunity and had a comfortable lead at half
time 0-6. Brandon started better in the second
half and contained Ipswich well for the first ten
minutes but as the Lasses tired and picked up a
couple of injuries, Ipswich finished the match off
by adding another five. Chelsea Panter and
Clare Guy both battled well and Sam Dodds put in a
good performance but this must happen throughout
the team!

Waveney
Herons 6 Brandon Lasses
1 Brandon Lasses away to Waveney Herons
started the game in great style scoring after
only two minutes, with Shawney Page
capitalising on a mistake in the Waveney defence
to slot home. Waveney came back strongly and
equalised when the Lasses failed to clear a corner
and then going on to add another 3 before half
time. The second half saw the Lasses defending
much better but were unable to put the Herons
under any real pressure. However they should
have reduced the deficit but missed a good goal
scoring opportunity and were punished as Waveney
added two more.
