Brandon Lasses 0
Bury Town 0
Brandon started this
fixture well but could not find a cutting edge
past a resolute Bury defence, April Harrild
coming closest with a shot off the bar. Bury's
chances were limited in the first half but they
came out the better side in the second half and
played some good football. Both teams had
chances but as in the reverse fixture the
match ended goalless.

Waveney Youth 0
Brandon started well
when Paige Kenny showed good control from a
corner and put the Lasses one up. Susannah
Bradley could have made two but for a good stop
by the Waveney keeper. Brandon played some good
passing football and Ellie Austin in mid-field
was giving Waveney problems down the wing.
Mid-way through the half Paige turned well onto
a through ball to put the Lasses two up. A good
headed clearance by Jasmine Field sent Susannah
Bradley on a good strong run down the left
and a good ball into the box was put away by
Paige for her hatrick
Paige added her
fourth within a minute of the restart as she
latched onto a long goal kick and was unlucky
minutes later as her shot came off the post.
Ellen Rumsey's good run and ball in from
the right was well cleared by the Waveney
defence.Dayna Howard put a good ball through for
Ellie to score a well deserved goal and Dayna
scored Brandon's 6th from a corner. Dayna turned
provider again for Charlotte Howard and Paige
finished the scoring with her fifth and the
Lasses eighth. Well done to stand in Goal
keeper's Dayna, Ellie and Susannah and well done
Ellen and Jasmine who again controlled defence.

Ipswich Town 1
Brandon Lasses 3
The Lasses knew a
victory at Ipswich would guarantee runners up
spot in the S.G.F.L. At the interval Brandon had
been limited to long range shots and were
fortunate to see a good move and shot by Town
come off the post. H/t 0-0
Brandon started well
in the second half and when Ipswich conceded a
free-kick just inside the half way
line Jasmine Field stepped up and sent the
kick through a crowded area into the back of the
net. Within four minutes Town had hit back when
the Lasses failed to clear a corner. Brandon
regained the lead when a strong run by Charlotte
Howard fed the ball through to Ellie Austin who
finished well. A great shot by Paige Kenny was
parried by the Town keeper before Charlotte
scored making the points safe. Dayna Howard
played a very good defensive mid-field role for
the Lasses and along with Ellen Rumsey, Jasmine
Field in defence and Evie Laddell in goal they
kept a lively Town forward line at bay. Ellie
Austin had very good game switching from
mid-field to attack and April Harrild's energy
and performance in midfield was terrific.
The Lasses have had a superb season and now
have three home games to finish the season off.

Brandon Lasses
1 Woodbridge Town 2
The Lasses went into this game against
league leaders knowing that only a win would
keep them in with a chance of the title and
started well. Good work by Susanna Bradley and
April Harrild set up Charlotte Howard with her
shot going narrowly wide. Ellen Rumsey broke
forward from defence and her shot was
tipped away by the Town keeper, from the
resulting corner Jasmine Field shot just wide
and minutes later Ellen again put in a great
ball which dipped onto the crossbar.
Woodbridge always looked dangerous on the
break but it was the Lasses who continued to
really press with Ellie Austin and Dayna
Howard battling well in mid-field and it
was Dayna next to see her shot pushed
wide by the Woodbridge keeper.
Brandon again
started well with Ellen again forcing the Town
keeper into a save, but with Woodbridge always
a threat they took the lead with a well taken
strike early in the half. Mid way through the
half the Lasses had a chance to pull back when
they were awarded a penalty but again the
Woodbridge keeper deigned Brandon. Francesca
Bonnett battled hard in the Lasses mid-field
and with ten minutes remaining some great
football sent Charlotte free and she tucked
the ball away. At this point the game seemed
to be heading for a draw when Woodbridge broke
free to score their winner with only minutes
remaining. With the chances created Brandon
were unfortunate not to get more but a
terrific match by both teams.

Brandon beat
visitors Bacton with a last gasp winner from
Dayna Howard.
The Lasses had
chances in the first half with good shots
from Ellie Austin and Charlotte Howard coming of
the post and bar. Bacton frustrated Brandon and
the Lasses struggled to hit the sort of form
they have shown this season.
Mid way into the
second half Brandon pushed numbers forward at a
risk of getting caught at the back and just as
it looked like a 0-0 draw some good passing left
Dayna free in the area and she tucked the ball
away for the Lasses to take the points.

Brandon Lasses 2
The Lasses found themselves in a hard fought game
against Stow B. With Stow competing for every ball
Brandon had to really be on their game. The Lasses
created several chances but could not find their
way past a superb Stow keeper. Stow really put the pressure
on Brandon when they took the lead after latching
onto a long clearance by their keeper and the
Falcons striker turned with an excellent finish.
1-0 h/t
Brandon kept the pressure on only to be frustrated
by the inform Stow Keeper and resolute defence.
Late in the game Jasmine Field delivered a low
shot free-kick and Dayna Howard tucked in the
loose ball from close range. With only three
minutes left on the clock Dayna scored her second
and the Lasses winner with a great in-swinging
corner straight into the goal.

Youth 1 Brandon
Lasses 3
Brandon Lasses under 12's moved back into second
in the Suffolk Girls League with a 3-1 victory
over Waveney Youth. The Lasses came under early
Waveney pressure but settled well and went one up
as the home side failed to clear a corner and
April Harrild slotted the ball home. The following
ten minutes saw Brandon open up Waveney on several
occasions and shots from Paige Kenny and April saved
by the Waveney Keeper and hitting the post. Dayna
Howard had an excellent game for Brandon
and put the Lasses two up on 15 mins with a well
taken goal. Ellen Rumsey extended the Lasses lead
as her ball in from the half-way line evaded
everyone including the Waveney keeper. A good stop
at the feet of a Waveney striker by Evie
Laddell on half-time sent the Lasses in three up.
Waveney made Brandon defend more
in the second half but the lasses could have
added to their lead through Ellie Autsin and
Charrlotte Howard but for the Waveney keeper.
Waveney capitalised on a rare lapse in the Lasses
Defence to get a deserved goal. Ellen Rumsey
and Jasmine Field tightened things up and
April and Francesca Bonnett were denied again by
the home keeper.

Ipswich started with some early pressure but it
was Brandon who went one up in the opening minutes
with a terrific strike by Charlotte Howard
as she cut in from the left and sent an
unstoppable shot into the top corner. The Lasses
then started to take more control of the game but
Ipswich always looked dangerous on the break.
Ellen Rumsey put in another very good display in
defence often making last ditch tackles to keep
another Lasses clean sheet and Evie Ladell
continued her recent form with another sound
display in goal. On ten minutes Charlotte made it
two as her goal bound shot took a deflection wrong
footing the unfortunate Town keeper. Dayna Howard
made it 3-0 on twenty minutes as her superb
ball from the right finished in the top corner.
The Lasses had to defend more in the second half,
Dayna again impressing with her defensive
covering. Francesca Bonnett was introduced and
another excellent display was rewarded with the
Lasses fourth after good work and her goal bound
shot was deflected in to finish the game off. Ellie
Austin, April Harrild and Paige Kenny all
contributed to a very good lasses display. Credit
to a Ipswich who made Brandon work to
the end and a big thanks to Town Manager who
stepped in to referee at last minute.

Brandon Lasses under12 started well against a St.
Johns side currently sitting second in the table,
Charlotte Howard put in a good ball which was
scrambled around until the St. Johns keeper
managed to take hold of the ball. With 3mins. on
the clock the Lasses took the lead with a well
taken goal by Dayna Howard. Brandon failed to take
hold of the game at this point and St. Johns had
chances on the break, it was Brandon who had the
chance to increase their lead as St. Johns handled
in the area, but the spot kick was placed and the
visitors keeper made a good double save.H/T 1-0
Early in the second half Charlotte increased the
Lasses lead and in the dying minute the
persistent Paige Kenny finished the game off.
April Harrild once again had a very good game with
her terrific work rate, Susannah Bradley stepped
in defence and put in a very solid display and
Francesca Bonnett came on looked very tidy and
settled in very well.

Brandon went into this cup tie against the league
leaders and only team to defeat the Lasses this
season. Both sides had chances early on but
mid-way through the half it was Woodbridge who
took the lead. Brandon defended well but were
caught right on half -time when ex lasses
player Gabrielle Whitehurst put in a good corner
which was met by great glancing header. The Lasses
were really up for the second half and after
April Harrild had a shot well held by the
Woodbridge keeper an impressive Paige Kenny
latched onto a long goal kick from Evie Laddel
with good control took the ball past the
Woodbridge defence and a great finish to keep up
her good goal scoring form. It was game on for
Brandon at this stage, Ellie Austin and April
Harrild worked tirelessly in midfield and
closed Woodbridge down. Woodbridge looked
dangerous on the break with Gabrielle looking
strong in mid-field for the visitors, but the
Lasses defence was strong and Evie put in her best
performance of the season in goal. Brandon
pushed forward and shots from Paige, Ellie, Ellen
and April could not find the Lasses a
deserved equaliser. P.O.M Paige Kenny a constant
threat and another well taken goal.

Brandon Got off to a great start with April
Harrild tucking away a Dayna Howard cross in
the first two minutes and thing got even better a
couple of minutes later when Paige Kenny latched
onto a good through ball from April and knocked
the ball past two Stow defenders and finished
well. Stow battled hard and had chances of their
own but it was Brandon who increased their lead
just before half time as Susannah tucked the
ball away.
The second half never really got going for Brandon
And both sides had chances. Stow pulled one back
as the Brandon Keeper failed to hold onto a
routine ball, but the Lasses kept their heads and
saw the game out. Not one of the Lasses best
performances this season but a good result on a
heavy and tight pitch and a hard fought
match.

Brandon found themselves against a resilient
Witnesham side. Charlotte Howard run and shot
flashed across the goal only needing a touch from
the on running Paige Kenny and April Harrild.
The Lasses then broke clear twice but could not
finish, but found the back of the net when Paige's
persistence paid off as she forced the ball
through a crowd of players and finished well.
Winesham
then had a good spell and looked likely to bring
the Lasses run of clean sheets to an end but
another fine performance by Ellen Rumsey in
defence and Evie Laddell in goal managed to keep
them out.
Early into the second half Dayna Howard broke
clear in mid-field and added Brandon's second with
a fine finish. Susanna Bradley's shot was handled
in the area and Ellen tucked away the penalty,
Charlotte then hit the post and April shot just
wide before the Lasses finished the game off with
Dayna's second. Susanna then had a shot cleared
off the line. A good victory for the Lasses ageist
a Witnesham side who kept the Brandon Defence on

Brandon started the second half well with April Harrild moved out onto

chances but poor finishing. Susannah put in a

Brandon started the second half with a goal after
two mins, Charlotte finishing well from the edge

to really find their shooting boots and added
another three in the last five mins.
Charlotte tucked away well from a tight angle,
Dayna Howard with a great 20 yard shot over

work saw her goal attempt go wide, but it was good
flowing football from woodbridge that saw them add

St Johns
0 Brandon 6
Both teams entered
into this match with maximum points this season.
Brandon started very brightly shots from Dayna
Howard and Ellis Austin just missing the target.
Mid way through the half St. Johns broke but
Eavie Ladell came off her line well and the shot
went wide. Within five minutes the lasses were
one up with Charlotte Howard finishing well,
Dayna Howard linked up superbly with
Charlotte for her second a minute later and
Charlotte completed a great hatrick in three
minutes when she latched onto a Susanna Bradley
throw in. St Johns had a good chance on 25
mins. with a free kick just outside the area but
the Lasses wall did their job and the shot
deflected wide.
The second half saw
Brandon continue to take the game to St Johns
and as April Harrild controlled the ball in
mid-field she put a delightful ball
through to Susanna who shot just wide. Charlotte
added her fourth picking the ball up from a goal
kick and a great finish and was unlucky a few
minutes later when her shot was well blocked.
Dayna was unlucky
not to get on the score sheet when her shot from
a corner hit the post and it was great
work by Dayna who crossed for Ellie
and Paige Kenny both to attack the loose ball
and put it away.(half a goal each I guess?) A
superb result for the Lasses was completed as an
unstoppable Charlotte once again sent a shot
goal bound and a deflection of the St Johns
defence sent the ball past the keeper. Eavie in
Goal, Ellen Rumsey and Jasmine Field
in defence all played their part in keeping a
clean sheet. Dayna and Charlotte Howard
really played their part in this superb team
performance and great result for the Lasses!

A resilient Witnesham frustrated the Lasses and

coming from some good football with Gabrielle
Whitehurst putting April Harrild through to shoot
just wide and a break by Susanna Bradley
putting April through again only to be denied by a
good stop from the visitors keeper.
The second half was a different story with Dayna
and Charlotte Howard both playing well down the
wings, the mid-field and strikers linked up better
and a good lay off by Dayna to Gabrielle opened
the Lasses scoring with a well taken goal. April
once again was unfortunate when a superb header
came off the cross bar and Dayna was denied by the
visitors keeper. Soon after Charlotte finished
well, Ellie Austin come on the left and put in a
great cross which was deflected into the goal and
was unlucky to see a good shot come off the post.
Ellen Rumsey's long range shot was finished

Copleston broke well from some good goal kicks but

On 20 mins Copleston took the lead when an

25mins Susanna Bradley took the ball forward and
layed off a great pass to April who controlled,
beat the defender and slotted away a
great shot for Brandon's equaliser.
Brandon continued to pressure in the second half
and went two up as a well taken long range
free-kick by Jasmine Field beat everyone
finishing in the goal. The Lasses made sure of the
points when a cross from Gabrielle Whitehurst was

around and create chances. Paige Kenny shot over
the bar mid way through the half and
Charlotte Howard shot just wide. Ellie Austin's
energetic performance was rewarded with a
goal as Bergholt failed to clear a Lasses corner.
Brandon started well from the kick-off for the
second half and started to pass it around well.
Paige Kenny broke forward after two minutes and
slotted past the keeper to put the Lasses in
front. The Lasses controlled the game more in
the second half and a hard working mid-field gave
Bergholt little time on the ball and
a solid Brandon defence made it
hard for the home team. A well worked corner put
away by Gabrielle Whitehurst sealed the Result
with five minutes to go, although it was East
Bergholt finished strong. Brandon Started
slow but finished well with a good all-round
team performance!
