Brandon Lasses 1   Stow Falcons  4
Brandon finished the season with a very good display at home to Stow.  The Lasses had much of the opening play and either team could have got the first break through, unfortunately for the Lasses it was Stow right on the half time whistle.
Brandon equalised in the second half as Chloe Rumsey half-volleyed a 20 yard rasping shot that the stow keeper had no chance of keeping out! Daisey Warren and Becky Jacob both played well in defence and Jade Rodwell once again put in another good keeping performance for the Lasses.
Results have not gone for this squad this season but they have put in some excellent performances with a very tight squad.  A big thanks to the parents and players and with the good work being put in by Dan and Graham they can look forward to next season!

Brandon Lasses  0 Waveney Herons  7
With only seven players available, Sam Stones had to deputise in goal and put in a good display.  Megan Cooper and Chloe Rumsey battled well and the Lasses held Waveney for much of the first half but as the game went on the Lasses tired and Waveney's strength game through.

Bury Town  2    Brandon Lasses   0
A very good competitive game, contributed by both sides.  Charmaine Constable put in another good display and Jade Rodwell had a very good game in goal.  Probably fitness was the telling point as Bury scored twice in the last ten minutes to take the game. Guess what we are doing in training this week girls?  Once again this group of players have shown they are not far off and am sure they will see these close results can be turning in their favour next season!

Elmswell  3  Brandon Lasses 1
Another slow start from Brandon cost them, as they found themselves three goals down at half time.
Chelsea Britton had another good performance in goal and Charmaine Constable put in a good display coming on in the second half.  Chloe Rumsey played well in midfield in the second half and the Lasses pulled one back with Shawny Page.

Stow Falcons 7  Brandon Lasses 0
Brandon struggled against a confident Stow side in the first half finding themselves six down at half time.
Chelsea Britton playing in goal for an injured Jade Rodwell can take some positives from this game in the stops she did make and Jade Elliot put in a good performance stepping in from the under twelve's. The Lasses contained Stow better in the second half.  Harder work and more concentration in training would see some the players progress alot more!

Brandon Lasses 1      Ipswich Town Women 3
Despite the result this was another really good performance from this squad who continue to develop as a team each week.  Brandon's approach was superb, they kept things tight at the back, gave Ipswich no time in mid-field and caught them on the break in attack.  Shawney Page and Aimee Harrison both could have been on the score sheet as Ipswich struggled to contain them but for their keeper who was in superb form.  It was Shawney who put the Lasses into a deserved lead with a really good finish.  Becky Jacobs and Chloe Rumsey both kept a tight defence, with Sam Stones and Megan Cooper both working hard just in front of them.  When Brandon broke forward the support play by Sam and Megan was well controlled, not over committing, against a strong Ipswich side.  Jade Rodwell's good goal clearances gave Ipswich problems as Aimee and Shawney both worked well setting each other up only to be deigned by one of the best goal keeping displays I've seen.  Ipswich evened the scores later in the half and both teams continued to press. H/t1-1
The second half was much as the first with both teams creating chances but as Ipswich tucked away two more goals Brandon just could not find away past the superb Town Keeper.  The Brandon captain Megan Cooper lead by example in this match with tireless support play and tracking back using her good footballing skills to give Town problems all afternoon.  Another big well done this week girls and keep it up !!!

Copleston S.C.  0   Brandon Lasses  1
A good competitive and close game. Once again Jade Rodwell impressed in the Lasses goal with a superb all round goal keeping display. Shawney Page put in her best match of the season scoring the Lasses goal and working hard all afternoon. Daisy Warren showed superb heading ability winning any aerial ball that came her way. Becky Jacobs was solids in defence and Megan Cooper and Choe Rumsey both battled hard in mid -field. Chelsea Britton, Lauren Weight and Sam Stones all put in good team performances.

Felixstowe & Walton  3   Brandon Lasses 3
Brandon played the first half into a strong head wind and their defence was alert to early Felixstowe pressure with good defensive work by Chloe Rumsey, Becky Jacobs and Jade Rodwell making some good stops in goal.  As the half went on Brandon created some good chances and were rewarded when Shawny Page finished off some good work by Aimee Harrison.
The Lasses should have had the game sewn up in the second half after two goals from Aimee Harrison and Felixstowe replied with one to make it 3-1,  but as Felixstowe continued to catch Brandon on the break, once again some of the tracking back by the Lasses left their defence out numbered and some good attacking and finishing by Felixstowe brought the score back to 3-3.  Brandon pushed hard for the winner towards the end but a fair result on the day and an entertaining game.

Waveney Girls 5   Brandon Lasses 0
Another game of two halves from the Lasses.  Once again they found themselves going behind to an early Waveney goal but battled back well in a tight first half, although they found it hard to create any clear-cut chances but they could have easily come in from the break on even terms with some more clinical finishing.
The second half saw Waveney take control in midfield and with the Lasses struggling to track back even a superb goal keeping performance from Jade Rodwell could not stop Waveney adding another four in the second half. Megan, Chloe and Becky all had good performances, Shawney battled well up front but was frustrated by a tight Waveney defence.  The Lasses should be looking for two first half performances in their next match, they have shown what they can do!

Brandon Lasses 2  Woodbridge  6
Brandon battled superbly closing down the ball and giving Woodbridge no time on the ball. There were chances at both ends but it was Brandon who equalised with some good team work and finish by Shawny Page. Captain Megan Cooper and Daisy Warren battled well in midfield, creating several chances but Brandon could not finish and were caught on the stroke of half time.  The first half display was excellent and credit to the girls and much appreciated work being put in by Dan Duckworth in training
The Lasses lost their shape a bit in the second half and were punished with some excellent Woodbridge finishing.  Chloe Rumsey had a penalty stopped by the Woodbridge keeper but she was alert enough to finish well from the rebound.  Well done!!

Waveney Herons 10  Brandon Lasses  0

Brandon faced a strong experienced Herons side. The Lasses had to defend hard for most of the first half and despite working hard they were no match for the clinical finishing of Waveney finding themselves four goals down at half time.
Some changes were made at half time and the Lasses came out playing some better football and created some chances but could not find a way through. As the Lasses pushed forward it make them a bit more vunerable on the break.  Despite the score line, the Lasses can take some positives from their performance although they were disappointed with the result the new players in the Lasses side can take a lot from playing against well experienced sides like Waveney.

Brandon Lasses 4   Bury Town 3
Both teams played some good football in a tight mid-table game.  Brandon started passing the ball around well but found themselves behind as Bury latched onto a good ball beyond the Lasses defence followed by a good finish.  The Lasses heads did not go down and they were rewarded with a well taken goal from Shawney Page from a tight angle followed by goals from Aimee Harrison and a second goal from Shawney.
After the break Bury came out brighter, taking the game to Brandon and soon had pulled the game back to 3-3, but once again the Lasses battled back with Aimee scoring her second of the match.  The lasses had to battle well to hang on for the the points.

Brandon Lasses 0  Elmswell  3
An end to end game in which Brandon struggled to take control and take their chances.  Once again Megan Cooper and Chloe Rumsey lead from the back but the Lasses struggled to take control in midfield.  Brandon's squad has the ability to play better if they control their football and work hard in training.

Stow Falcons 4   Brandon Lasses 1
Brandon found themselves on the back foot but defended well, keeping a good passing Stow side at bay, although Stow did find a way through with two well taken goals. The Lasses then changed their squad around and started playing some good attacking football, putting Stow on their back foot but despite creating some good chances they could not find away through.  A Brandon penalty was saved by the Stow 'keeper and the half finished with Stow two goals the better.
The second half saw the Lasses continue to press and were rewarded by a superb individual goal from Aimee Harrison. The game then flowed from end to end and Stow had a chance to pull back their two goal cushion but their penalty was pushed wide.  As Brandon pushed forward they were caught twice by Stow to take the game beyond the Lasses.  For Brandon, Lauren Weight put in a good energetic performance and was unlucky not to be on the score sheet, but Aimee's second half performance was probably the best individual performance  to have been seen in a Lasses match. It was a disappointing score line for Brandon who probably deserved a point on their performance alone, but anyway what great display by both sides.  Well done!

Wickham Market 0    Brandon Lasses   5
The first half saw Brandon create plenty of chances but they were unable to find a way past a resolute Whickham defence.  The Lasses finally broke the deadlock just before half time following a cracking shot from Megan Cooper which was well stopped by the Wickham 'keeper only to be followed up by Shawney Page.
Aimee Harrison and Chelsea Panter were introduced for the second half and both added to Brandon's scoreline.  Aimee score from a sweetly struck shot from twenty yards and Chelsea put away a loose ball in the penalty area.  Chelsea then went on to add another two for her second hatrick in two games, both from excellent deliveries from Aimee.  Brandon played some excellent passing football only to be denied by a super performance from the Wickham 'keeper.  The Lasses captain, Megan Cooper, had her best game of the season with some good creative passing, battling defensive work and a handful of excellent long distance shots.

Brandon Lasses 3    Copleston S.C.  1
This game started slowly with both teams finding it hard to break through. A good header from Daisy Warren from the halfway line put Shawney Page through to score Brandon's first.  Shawney added another and had several breaks that were well defended by the Copleston defence and 'keeper.  Copleston also pushed forward well and had several well taken corners but were unable to finish.  Chloe Rumsey had another good game for the Lasses both defending and creating from midfield as did Megan Cooper.  The second half saw copleston pull one back to set up nervous end but as they pushed forward hard looking for an equaliser Shawney broke with the ball taking it past the last Copleston defender and finishing with a well taken shot to give her a second hatrick of the season and Brandon the points.

Ipswich Women 5 Brandon Lasses 1
Brandon started brightly going one up after five minutes from Shawney page.  The Lasses continued to soak up the Ipswich pressure with a good defensive display from both Megan Cooper and Becky Jacobs with Chloe Rumsey in mid-field.  Ipswich equalised mid way through the half only for Brandon to come close straight from the kick off, with Shawney's shot going wide.  Ipswich added another before half time.
The second half saw nearly constant pressure from Ipswich, with Brandon having to battle hard to keep them out.  Jade Rodwell had another good display in goal and played a big part in keeping the score line down.  The best chances for Brandon in the second half were a shot from Chloe, pushed away well by the home keeper, as was another good shot from Shawney.  Ipswich's good depth of squad paid dividends as the Lasses conceded three late goals.  It was still a good competitive performance from both squads.  Well done to both teams and once again a good refereeing display from Mr. Landers who took control of both the under 12 and under 13.

Brandon Lasses 6   Felixstowe and Walton  3
Once again the Lasses found themselves going behind early to a sloppy goal with the ball going in off the back of a Felixstowe player.  This time Brandon fought back with two goals from Shawney Page, only for Felixstowe to equalise before half time.
Brandon started the second half a lot better and added three more goals two from a impressive Aimee Harrison and another from Shawney Page, who showed good touches all through the match. The Felixstowe 'keeper made some excellent stops and they pulled another back before the end, only for Shawney to add her fourth goal.  Once again Chloe Rumsey and Demi Simpson had good solid performances in midfield, with Daisy Warren looking lively when she came on.  Jade Rodwell had another good game in goal and Becky Jacobs and Linsey Bowley both played well in defence.  Overall a good team performance to give the Lasses their first league victory of the season.

Brandon 0 Waveney Girls 7
Brandon quickly found themselves behind to an early Waveney goal.  Megan Cooper and Shawny Page battled well but found Waveney hard to break down.  Jade Rodwell made some good stops in goal but Waveney were too strong in midfield for Brandon and added another three before half time.
Chloe Rumsey had a good game and came closest to scoring for the Lasses with a long range shot front a free kick.
Demi Simpson and Chelsea Panter came on during the second half and both looked lively, but it was Waveney who added to their tally.  Becky Jacobs, Daisy Warren, Charmaine Constable, Chelsea Briton and Lauren Weight  made up the Lasses squad.
